19th Century French Curved Sofa in Ivory Soft Velvet

This magnificent antique sofa comes from France. It has undergone complete restoration process. The sofa has been completely stripped down and reupholstered in very soft top quality light neutral colour velvet. The sofa features sprung seat and backrest on top of which comes foam. All this makes it very comfortable and will last this way for many years. Solid wooden structure makes it a sturdy piece of furniture. Velvet is of top quality, it has been treated with easy to wash process and thanks to the thickness it is strong and soft in touch. Wooden legs shows a beautiful patina, we had them treated and secured with special wood oils to keep them fresh for long time and to expose the beautiful wood grains. The back of this slightly curved sofa has also been covered in the same velvet, which makes the sofa perfect furniture to be placed centrally in a room with exposed back. Fabrics used are the highest quality. The shape has been kept in every detail as the original.
