1930 Jindrich Halabala Bentwood Armchairs in Yellow Velvet

Armchairs, model H - 237 designed by Jindrich Halabala and produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1930's by UP Zavody Brno. They are made of beech bentwood we have completely restored them. They were stripped down, all the insides were replaced, foams, inner linen, support belts, and upholstered in yellow velvet. Seats are based on springs. Wood has been sanded, stained and secured with matt varnish. Velvet used is of the highest quality, strong and easy to wash due to special technology applied during manufacturing process.
