Early 20th Century Czech Armchairs by Jan Vanek from 1930's, Set of 2
About
Pair of lounge chairs, in wood and canvas, by Jan Vanek for UP Zavodny, Czech Republic, 1930s. Stunning pair of dynamic armchairs designed by Czech architect Jan Vanek (1891-1962), who was a contemporary of Jindrich Halabala (1903-1987). These chairs are upholstered with a light grey Tweed. The wooden frame has been sanded, stained and secured with matt varnish and now forms a nice contrast to the light upholstery. These chairs come with new custom made cushions and new support belts.
