U 460 Dresser, Sideboard by Jiri Jiroutek for Interier Praha, 1958

Jiroutek designed the U-460 cabinet in 1958 when he was just 30 years old. It differed from all other production through it's smart details, shapes and modern colors. Also - mainly - it was available for wide public. Lower production costs allowed Jiroutek to focus on true design details. This cabinet became so successful that it was produced for over 20 years! Several generations of Czechs and Slovaks are familiar with Jiroutka's wooden chest with black white and pink formica drawers, which stands on sloping wooden legs. (Key is not included).
 
This dresser has been refreshed and secured with wood care preserver.
