Mid Century Danish Teak Lounge Chairs, 1950s – Blue Velvet
Price per chair. Only one chair is available.
A beautifully sculpted pair of Mid Century Danish lounge chairs from the 1950s, defined by their elegant curved “tub” silhouette and refined proportions. The design combines softness and structure, with a sweeping backrest that gently wraps around the sitter for both comfort and visual impact.
Newly upholstered in a rich blue velvet, the chairs are complemented by a solid teak frame and continuous wooden top rail, adding warmth and a distinctive architectural line.
The flowing form of the backrest, enhanced by subtle button detailing, reflects a softer, more expressive side of Danish modern design. The continuous teak rail along the top edge is both decorative and functional—offering a tactile contrast to the upholstery.
The chairs sit on tapered solid teak legs, giving them a light, elevated presence typical of the period.
