Both chairs have been fully restored and reupholstered in luxurious yellow velvet, bringing warmth and vibrancy to their timeless silhouette. The wooden frames and legs have been carefully sanded and finished with natural oils, enhancing the grain and ensuring long-lasting durability.

František Jirák (1910–1980) was a Czech architect and designer, best known for his innovative furniture created during the mid-20th century. Working with UP Závody Brno, one of the most important Czechoslovak furniture manufacturers, Jirák specialized in bentwood and upholstered seating. His designs reflected the principles of modernism: clean lines, functionality, and comfort. Today, his armchairs and sofas are considered classics of European mid-century design, sought after by collectors worldwide.
