A beautifully proportioned Danish chair Komfort, dating from the 1960s.
The design is defined by its sculptural solid teak frame, with sweeping arms, softly rounded edges and an open spindle back that gives the set a particularly elegant architectural quality. The warm tone and expressive grain of the teak contrast beautifully with the newly upholstered cushions.
The armchair has been professionally reupholstered in a rich green bouclé, chosen to complement the warmth of the timber while retaining the relaxed character of the original design. Deep seat and back cushions provide excellent comfort, while subtle button detailing adds period character without making the pieces feel overly formal.
The teak frame has been carefully restored and present very well, retaining the natural character expected from authentic vintage furniture.
