A beautifully proportioned Danish living room set by Komfort, dating from the 1960s and comprising a three-seater sofa with matching armchair.
The design is defined by its sculptural solid teak frame, with sweeping arms, softly rounded edges and an open spindle back that gives the set a particularly elegant architectural quality. The warm tone and expressive grain of the teak contrast beautifully with the newly upholstered cushions.
The sofa and armchair have been professionally reupholstered in a rich green bouclé, chosen to complement the warmth of the timber while retaining the relaxed character of the original design. Deep seat and back cushions provide excellent comfort, while subtle button detailing adds period character without making the pieces feel overly formal.
The teak frames have been carefully restored and present very well, retaining the natural character expected from authentic vintage furniture.
