1965 Chair by Edmund Homa, Model GFM-18 in Green Boucle
The author of GFM-18 is Professor Edmund Homa - one of the most outstanding Polish designers of the post-war period. It was produced in the second half of the 1960s in Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli. E. Homa is recognized and honored with many awards, the leading Polish designer of the post-war period. The chair has undergone a complete restoration process. It has been stripped down, all the insides were replaced, foams, inner linen, support belts and re upholstered in green boucle. The shape has been kept in every detail as original. Wood has been sanded, stained and secured with matt varnish exposing beautiful patina.
