1966 Jiri Jiroutek Sideboard, Model U 452 in Black and White

Jiroutek designed the U-452 cabinet in 1960 when he was just 30 years old. It differed from all other production through it's smart details, shape and modern colors. Also - mainly - it was available for wide public. Lower production costs allowed Jiroutek to focus on true design details. This cabinet became so successful that it was produced for over 20 years! Several generations of Czechs and Slovaks are familiar with Jiroutek's sideboards, which stand on sloping wooden legs.
