1966 Jiri Jiroutek Sideboard, Model U 460 in Black and White
Jiroutek designed the U-460 cabinet in 1958 when he was just 30 years old. It differed from all other production through it's smart details, shapes and modern colors. Also - mainly - it was available for wide public. Lower production costs allowed Jiroutek to focus on true design details. This cabinet became so successful that it was produced for over 20 years! Several generations of Czechs and Slovaks are familiar with Jiroutek's wooden chest with black and white formica drawers, which stands on sloping wooden legs. This dresser has sanded and oiled, all drawers were deeply cleaned.
