A beautifully shaped pair of dining chairs by Antonín Šuman, dating from the 1960s.
These chairs feature Šuman’s distinctive sculptural silhouette, with elegantly curved bentwood backrests and a striking open-arch design. The warm honey-toned wooden frames pair particularly well with the forest green bouclé upholstery, creating a refined mid-century look with plenty of character.
The generously proportioned seats offer comfort, while the tapered legs and flowing lines give the chairs a light yet architectural presence. Attractive from every angle, they work equally well as dining chairs, occasional chairs, or statement accent pieces.
The chairs have been professionally restored and newly upholstered, and are ready for everyday use.
