Danish Teak Armchair by Poul Jeppesen for Holstebro in Yellow Velvet

Delivery 1 - 10 days.

An exceptional Danish mid-century high back lounger by Holstebro Møbelfabrik, beautifully restored to highlight the elegance and craftsmanship that made Scandinavian furniture renowned worldwide.

The design is defined by its striking solid teak frame, featuring flowing sculptural armrests and a distinctive slatted back that allows the chair to be admired from every angle. The softly curved lines and organic joinery showcase the refined woodworking techniques associated with Danish furniture production during the 1960s.

Professionally restored by LOFTME, the chair has been reupholstered in yellow velvet, creating a sophisticated contrast between the warm teak tones and the richly textured fabric. The upholstery enhances the sculptural character of the piece while providing a contemporary yet timeless appearance.

One of the lounger's most attractive features is its exposed rear frame. The beautifully shaped teak slats transform the back into an architectural design element, making it ideal for open-plan interiors where it can be appreciated from all sides.

The solid teak frame displays stunning grain patterns throughout, with deep honey and caramel tones brought to life through careful restoration and finishing. Every curve, joint and detail reflects the quality and attention to craftsmanship characteristic of Danish furniture from this period
