These Diana Safari Chairs by Karin Mobring for Ikea were manufactured in Sweden in 1972. The frame is made from solid stained wood and supports newly applied cotton canvas fabric upholstered seat tied with three leather straps. This model of a Safari chair was inspired by a British officer's chair and has a closed, geometric frame and very light design. Overall, the wood is in a good original condition with some traces of use like chafing. We had it refreshed ad secured with Danish wood oil.
