A beautifully restored pair of iconic Hans J. Wegner GE265 armchairs, designed for Getama in the 1960s. Crafted in solid oak, these high-backed lounge chairs feature Wegner’s signature sculptural lines and ergonomic comfort. The frames have been re-oiled to enhance the natural grain and durability.
Each chair has been newly upholstered in a luxurious rusty-brown velvet, with soft cushioning and adjustable headrests secured by original leather straps. The design offers excellent back and neck support, making it ideal for reading or relaxing.

Hans J. Wegner (1914–2007) is considered one of the greatest furniture designers of the 20th century and a driving force behind the Danish Modern movement. Trained as a cabinetmaker, Wegner created more than 500 chairs during his career, many of which became design icons. His work is admired for its organic forms, honest craftsmanship, and exceptional comfort, blending simplicity with timeless elegance.
