A beautifully sculpted Danish Mid-Century reclining armchairs by Juul Kristensen, produced in Denmark during the 1960s.
The solid teak frames are defined by broad, flowing armrests, softly rounded edges and open side profiles. Their substantial construction is balanced by a low, relaxed silhouette, giving the chairs a strong architectural presence without appearing heavy.
A distinctive feature of this model is its adjustable reclining mechanism. The backrests can be positioned at several different angles, allowing you to choose the ideal seating position for reading, relaxing or lounging. The discreet adjustment system is seamlessly integrated into the frame, preserving the chair's elegant design.
The chairs have been fully restored and newly upholstered in a premium ivory bouclé-style textile. Generously padded seat and back cushions provide exceptional comfort, while the warm teak and softly textured fabric create a refined contrast.
Designed to be enjoyed individually or together, the pair can also be positioned facing one another to create a comfortable daybed-style lounger, a clever and versatile feature typical of thoughtful Danish design.
