Knoll Antimott Three-Seater Sofa in Teak and Ivory Boucle, 1960s

A beautifully proportioned three-seater sofa by Knoll Antimott, dating from the 1960s and combining elegant German modernist design with strong Scandinavian influence.
The sofa is built around a finely shaped teak frame, with slender tapered legs and distinctive sweeping armrests that extend naturally into the rear structure. The open construction gives the piece a light, architectural feel and makes it particularly attractive when viewed from all sides.
It has been professionally restored and newly upholstered in a textured ivory bouclé, chosen to complement the warm tone of the teak while keeping the overall appearance soft and understated. Three generously padded seat cushions and three matching back cushions provide excellent comfort without compromising the clean proportions of the frame.
The timber presents beautifully, with rich colour and attractive grain throughout, while the new upholstery gives the sofa a fresh, contemporary finish.
