Oswald Haerdtl Dining Chairs, 1950s – Set of 4 in Black Boucle
Price is for the set of four chairs. Online exclusive - Delivery in 5-7 Weeks.
An elegant set of four mid-century dining chairs by Oswald Haerdtl, dating from the 1950s.
The chairs feature a beautifully restrained silhouette with tall, gently curved wooden backrests, a distinctive lower cut-out and slender tapered legs. Their warm honey-toned timber contrasts particularly well with the new black bouclé upholstery, giving the set a sharper, more contemporary character while preserving its unmistakable 1950s aesthetic.
The upholstered seats are softly rounded and generously proportioned, while the curved backs create a strong architectural profile when viewed from both the front and rear. The simplicity of the construction and carefully balanced proportions make these chairs particularly versatile, working equally well around a vintage dining table or within a more contemporary interior.
The chairs have been professionally restored, newly upholstered and are ready for everyday use.
