Mini Bar / Gramophone Cabinet By Jindrich Halabala For Up Zavody, 1958
This gramophone cabinet was designed by Jindrich Halabala in the 1930s, but due to its popularity stayed in production until 1960s. The cabinet was designed to house a vinyl record player in the top compartment and two record storage on both sides of the cabinet. The player itself was of Supraphon production. The company is still operating and is one of the most famous Eastern Europe recording company for classical music. You my read more about it here. We have converted this cabinet into a mini bar. In the top compartment glasses can be stored with bottles in the main bottom and books or other things on the both sides. The cabinet undergone restoration process. It has been sanded and treated with wood oils.
