A beautifully sculptural Danish high-back lounge chair with matching footstool, designed by Vestervig Eriksen for Brdr. Tromborg’s Eftf.
The chair features an elegant solid teak frame with long, sweeping armrests, beautifully shaped supports and a tall reclining back designed for exceptional comfort. The exposed timber construction is particularly striking from the rear, where the horizontal supports reveal the craftsmanship and architectural character of the design.
The chair and matching footstool have been fully restored and newly upholstered in a premium ivory bouclé, chosen to complement the warmth and grain of the teak. Generous cushioning, together with the separate headrest and footstool, makes this an exceptionally comfortable lounge chair as well as a strong statement piece.
A refined example of Scandinavian modernism, balancing organic curves, craftsmanship and functionality. Ideal for a living room, reading corner, bedroom or sophisticated hospitality interior.
