This funky Kangaroo chair was designed by Ernst Moeckl in 1968 and is considered a classic example of GDR design of the 1970s. While it is true that the chair was produced in East Germany by the company VEB Petrochemisches Kombinat Schwedt, it was also manufactured in West Germany by the company Horn. The chair is made out of heavy duty white polyurethane painted brown and moulded into an elegant flowing Z-shape.
